Does Motion do tasks for you or just schedule them?

Mostly it schedules them. Motion's AI takes your tasks, priorities, and deadlines and builds your calendar. It decides when you should work on each task. But it doesn't do the task for you: no drafting emails, filing tickets, or acting in other apps.

Scheduling vs executing

Scheduling means deciding when something happens. Executing means actually doing it. Motion is great at the first part: it auto-schedules tasks based on priority, reschedules when things change, and resolves calendar conflicts.

What it doesn't do is the work itself. "Send follow-up email to client" gets put on your calendar at the right time. You still write the email. Tools that execute use AI agents to draft, research, and act in your connected apps.
